Valve Groups

Valve groups are the building blocks for valve closures based on trigger events. Valve groups are configurable and expandable to satisfy the many different business rules and needs of our customers.  


 

To access your valve groups, go to the left navigation pane, groups-valve groups.

  • Edit an existing valve group
    • Select the desired valve group and Edit valve group. 
    • See steps below to make changes.
       
  • Create a new valve group
    • Enter the name and description at the top of the page and select create new. Make sure to include the location of the physical valve and what it is controlling. ie: Name-4th Floor Under Sink; Description-Domestic Water.
    • Select Edit valve group and define the group.
    • Trigger Type
      • Single Endpoint in Valve Group (Most Common).
        • A single user defined endpoint in alarm will trigger a valve closure event.
      • Count of Endpoints in Valve Group (Define number of sensors required to trigger closure).
        • User defines the number of endpoints needed to be in alarm to trigger a valve closure event.
      • All Endpoints in Valve Group (Define number of sensors required to trigger closure).
        • All user defined endpoints will need to alarm to trigger a valve closure event.
    • Save and continue
    • Step 2- Select the desired endpoints that when alarmed will trigger the valve closure(s). (Verify the device serial numbers)
    • Save and continue
    • Step 3-Select the desired valves that will be closed based on your selected endpoint trigger(s) and trigger type. (Verify the device serial numbers)
       
    • Save and continue

The valve group configuration is now complete.
