Device Battery Information
All devices have batteries that are either
used as the main power source or as a backup. You can order batteries for any type of device by emailing support@thedetectiongroup.com.

SMART Base Station

powered with a single Lithium Polymer rechargeable battery
- Average Battery Run time: 4-5 Hours
Battery Alerts and Notifications
Alerts and notifications are both configurable and determined by the battery variable and notification content selected within the Trident Platform.
A variable is a setting that can be adjusted.
An alert is displayed on the Trident Platform.
A notification is a text or email.
By default, devices have predetermined variables. These default variables are explained below.
Sensor: Low Battery Alert at 1 month remaining, NO Critical Battery
Alert.
Valve Controller: Low Battery Alert at 48 Hours remaining, Critical
Battery Alert with 24 Hours remaining.
Hub: Low Battery Alert at 2 days remaining, Critical Battery Alert
with 24 Hours remaining.
SMART Base Station: Low Battery Alert at 4 hours remaining, Critical Battery Alert
with 1 hour remaining (device will shutdown).

Your devices may have different variables. To view your device variables, select the variable tab on the device details page.
