Alarm Details

Alarm Details are provided for every water alarm that occurs, including water alarms that are pre-alarm silenced. There are four timestamped messages that we provide to better understand each alarm as well as specific notification information for each alarm. Pre-alarm silenced alarms will not send out notifications.

Water Detected: Timestamped when the alarm occurred.

Silenced: Someone has silenced the device by either physically pressing the button one time or by sending a silence message through the Trident Management Platform.

Leak Cleared: The sensor no longer detects continuity between the the two metal feet or sensing cable. The internal switch is now open. This message is for informational purposes only and does not silence or reset a device. Water may still be present and a response is still needed.

Manually OR Auto Reset: After a silence has occurred, devices will be in a 30 minute lockout period. After the 30 minute lockout, the device will Auto-reset. It is recommended that all devices be manually reset AFTER silencing by pressing and holding the middle button for ~12 secs.
